And we’re off. Rimor’s blog is up and running!

We’re quite excited. This blog is a new experience for us at Rimor. A lot of things have changed in recent years, as you may have noticed: a new logo, which carries the history of the brand, a new website and a whole new set of communication features: videos, social media, activities and events dedicated to our camper friends and our big Rimor family. Today is a new milestone for us and at the same time it’s the beginning of a new adventure: welcome to Rimor’s blog.

Maybe you’re wondering, why a blog? First of all because we wanted to share our passion: the freedom of travelling in motorhomes. We design them, build them and, of course, send them all over Europe. But we also experience them: many of us are campers and you might even meet us at a rest area or nearby camping sites. Also, because we understand life en plein air and on the open road and we want to make this blog a place where you can find advice not only on where to discover next, but also on how to make the most of our vehicles.

Our company was founded in 1978, based on a concept by Luano Niccolai. In that year the Rimor brand was born, thanks to the pioneering spirit of a man full of enthusiasm and ingenuity. Over the past 40 years, the small company with its artisanal soul has evolved to become an international brand, backed by the strength of the Trigano group, a market leader in the recreational vehicle market. Nevertheless, over the years our passion hasn’t changed: today we now have an extended family of enthusiasts scattered all over Europe and even overseas. A blog seemed to us the right idea to gather all our friends in one place, even if only virtually. To feel close, even when far away.

Over the years we’ve met many special friends, who will tell you about some of their adventures. Up first, we would like to introduce you to the Stoops family. We absolutely love them: a couple with four children who have decided to make the motorhome their way of life. They have been travelling around Europe with their Seal for over a year and have touched down in many wonderful places. A strong choice that is getting people excited on social media and is an example of how important it is to share new destinations and adventures as well as small daily pleasures with loved ones. It’s really true that when there is love, it doesn’t matter where you are to feel at home. In addition to the Stoops, there is also our friend and young motocross champion Rene Hofer who, when he isn’t flying his bike through turns on the tracks, travels from one race to another with his Horus 45. René is already European and world champion in the 85cc class, and his talent came at a very young age. He sat on his first bike when he was 3 years old and by the age of 7 he had already started to notch up an incredible string of wins. Now he is the official Redbull KTM rider for the MX2 category: a choice that already seems to be paying off, given his second place in the opening Grand Prix of the 2020 championship.

So here’s to a warm welcome to our blog. We invite you to follow us to discover new destinations, ideas about motorhome management as well as a few practical tips. See you soon with new articles!
