EVO 77 Plus: first place winner in the Caravan and Motorhome Club Motorhome & Van Design Awards 2022.

EVO and its features shine in the ‘Up to Six-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes under 8 metres’ category

Judging of the 72 competing vehicles took place by digital voting during the Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show in Birmingham, the UK’s largest exhibition of recreational vehicles, where we were represented by our importer Motorhomes and Caravans Ltd. The Competition was organised by The Caravan and Motorhome Club and whose aim is to provide the largest number and highest quality of information to members and buyers.

Rimor is proud to have won the first prize in the ‘Up to Six-Berth Coachbuilt motorhomes under 8 metres’ category with the Evo 77 Plus.

It was an extraordinary turnout which featured more than 350 exhibitors. Truly it was the best of the world’s manufacturers which were  present with the latest motorhomes, vans and caravans, as well as all the solutions, accessories and gadgets to enjoy life en plein air to the fullest.

The victory of EVO 77 Plus came in a very tough category full of participants of the highest calibre, in a sector that has always been a driving force and crowded with options.

All the vehicles were judged by an independent jury on the basis of wide-ranging criteria that truly define the motorhome life, such as comfort, practicality and safety–and not just when the engine is switched off. Essential driving elements such as driver ergonomics and passenger safety were also assessed.

The EVO 77 Plus took the first step on the podium, thanks to its innovative double dinette and drop-down bed. A unique idea in the segment, which guarantees maximum internal liveability, making the most of the space during the day and optimising the overall dimensions when relaxing and sleeping.

Guaranteeing 5 sleeping berths and 5 homologated seats during travel in just 697 cm in length, the EVO 77 Plus is based on a Ford Transit engine with 130 CV  and 96 kW of power, which reveals its sporty character and ability to tackle any journey. The seats in the driver’s cabin can be rotated together with the other seats at the front of the motorhome to form a comfortable and functional first dinette.

The rear area adds an even more comfortable and spacious dinette worthy of a flagship, which forms a U-shaped sofa and metaphorically embraces a large central table. It’s easy to imagine moments here in the company of the whole family, friends and guests, where conviviality and ease come first. Practical solutions and modern design are indeed the distinguishing features of the entire range. Learn more about EVO 77 Plus.
